This position is responsible for the management and overall operations of Pharmacy services within Lakeview Health with 24/7 accountability.

The individual in this position is expected to achieve operating results through strategic thinking, maintain a customer focus, build relationships, develop people, and motivate and engage teams while ensuring cost effective quality care, and excellent patient experience.

The Pharmacy Director participates in developing strategic and operational plans for the department and directs all aspects of patient care and services to assure that the organization mission, vision, values, strategic plan and policies and procedures are consistently met.

Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE; M-F Days

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist by State of Minnesota
  • 5+ years Hospital experience
  • 3+ years of progressive management experience
  • Ability to plan, lead, organize, evaluate and promote a team approach in the spirit of continuous quality/performance improvement
  • Strong negotiating, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people including employees, colleagues, medical staff, patients and community members

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy Administration or completion of Pharmacy Residency in Social and Administrative Pharmacy
  • 3+ years retail or business experience
  • PharmD
