Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Washington DC
Pay From: $35 per hour
MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room Nurse
2+ years' experience working in Operating Room in a Hospital Setting
Registered Nurse License in DC
BLS and ACLS required
Bachelor's degree, Associate Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred
DUTIES:
Coordinating the safety of the patient while in the operating or procedure rooms
Assessing the patient and the procedure
Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment
Administers conscious sedation to patients under the supervision of the doctor performing the case as requested
Performing patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but not limited: to patient assessment, collaboration with healthcare providers, procedural management, and a variety of medically related tasks; and other duties as assigned.
