PACO Group, Inc. (PACO) is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced Cost Control Analyst to provide assistance to the controls team at JFK International Airport. This Redevelopment Program is a $19 billion undertaking aimed at transforming the Airport into a world-class gateway. It includes construction of new terminals, modernization and expansion of existing terminals, infrastructure improvements such as streamlined roadways, a centralized ground transportation system, including state-of-the-art security measures.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Business, Engineering or related degree and 3-5 years relevant experience
In lieu of education, 7-10 years relevant cost control experience

Responsibilities
The Cost Control Analyst shall:
- Support the cost control team in the maintenance of project/program budgets and forecasts.
- Assist Project Managers in the generation of weekly, monthly, and special cost reports in a timely manner for the client and program leadership to monitor progress and status of project
- Generate detailed independent cost estimates, determining the cost of each item from prior work experience and current estimating standards and databases. Prepare a detailed breakdown of components and elements by discipline and summarizes the total.
- Generate conceptual estimates to establish rough order of magnitude project costs prior to full development of scope/design for various facilities.
- Perform quality control on cost estimates and proposals generated by third parties, to determine if there are irregularities in scope, cost, or schedule.
- Provide support in change management and price negotiations. Review specifications, drawings, and sketches to generate quantities and cost information for materials, equipment, and services for contract modifications.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Business, Engineering or related degree and 3-5 years relevant experience
In lieu of education, 7-10 years relevant cost control experience
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working on large, complex projects and programs
- Experience working as client's PM/CM agent (i.e. providing program management/construction management services)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
