Salary rate: $80.00-$89.00 per hour DOE
Position Summary
We are immediately seeking an experienced Weapon Encryption Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support our Network-Enabled Weapons (NEW) training team in Ridgecrest, CA.
The ACES Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world class military aviation training, products, and support. As part of ACES, the NEW team provides the latest information on aircraft software features and weapon functionality to warfighters so that they can be successful in combat.
The NEW training program is dynamic and challenging. The team delivers between four and six Network-Enabled Weapon University (NEW U) courses per year and supports multiple exercises in Europe and the Pacific. Travel locations include all domestic Fleet/CAF concentration areas as well as Europe, Asia and Australia. A NEW team member should expect to travel frequently in support of warfighter training.

Responsibilities
- Communicate, coordinate, and liaison between COMSEC Vaults, CONAUTHs, JICOs, and squadron-level Avionics Technicians.
- Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentation to Fleet/CAF aircrew, Tier 2 COMSEC, SKL users, and Operation Center (AOC, MOC) personnel
- Significant in-person training engagement with VX and Fleet aircrew, flight test engineers, software developers, program managers, contractors, and other key government representatives involved in NEW system development and Fleet/CAF operations
- Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within the broader weapons teams in ACES.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline preferred. Combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum eight years of crypto management and handling experience
- Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of crypto, SKL, CONAUTHs, and OPTASKLINKs.
- Travel (30%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.
- U.S. citizenship with a current and active Secret clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility
- Eligible for SAP/SAR programs
- Valid state driver license
Desired Experience/Skills
- Enthusiasm and commitment to a working environment requiring intense collaboration, robust communication, and coordination with various Fleet and CAF operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence
- Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects
Work Authorization
- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form
