SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating complex activities related to License Renewal activities for the station. Enhance/prepare site documentation, support field inspections, regulatory inspections, provide technical recommendations, and support project activities. Maintain Corrective Action Program (CAP) activities associated with commitment tracking and department corrective actions. Acts as a station lead for resolution of technical and regulatory issues.

EXPERIENCE

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
No certifications are required.
SRO certification or license is preferred.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance to station organizations relative to compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements, station commitments, and the licensing basis related to License Renewal.
Create/update project plans as applicable.
Ensure training for the Aging Management Program (AMP) has been completed.
Ensure License Renewal Implementation (LRI) Oracle Program is updated.
Manage inspections (One Time Inspection (OTI), Buried Piping, Selective Leaching, etc.) which includes cost, review of inspection results and progress tracking.
License Renewal related procedure revisions.
Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) updates / Commitment changes
Track missed inspections or additional inspections due to failures
Coordinate re-NRC Self-Assessments, self-assessments, QA audits, and inspection audits
NRC inspection preparation and support.
Updates to License Renewal scoped components.
10 CFR 54.37(b) reviews.
Update License Renewal Application (LRA) boundary drawings.
Ongoing review of Operating Experience (OE).
Benchmark with other utilities.
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION POSTED
Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
Ability to work independently and interface with all levels of personnel required.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
Staff and higher-level positions must have a working knowledge of Licensing basic (commitment changes, 50.59, etc.), Engineering Changes, and technical inspection approaches.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Accept ERO position as assigned and be able to meet the time response requirements.
Accept outage position as assigned.
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position.
Support rotational engineering duty.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Overtime and alternate work schedules as assigned.
Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
Travel (including overnight stay) may be required for business trips and training depending on the position.
May be required to carry a phone.
WORK LOCATION
Site/Remote on a limited basis - Due to the nature of the work, this position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site.
