Build the Intelligence Layer for 150 Million Homes

Real estate is the largest asset class in the world. In the U.S. alone, there are 150+ million homes and over 6 million residential sales per year. The inspection industry - a key entry point to every one of those transactions - is an $8B/year market that's fragmented, outdated, and has no clear leader.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg. A $300B+ total addressable market (TAM) exists when you include adjacent services like home wellness checks, long-term maintenance tracking, decision support tools, and continuous homeowner assistance.

DOMALYTX is building the platform that connects it all - a structured, intelligent system for how homes are understood, maintained, and managed over time.



Why Now? Why Us?

We're a small, experienced team - led by a licensed civil engineer and his co-founder - who have completed over 6,000 home inspections across California and Hawaii. After seeing the same costly mistakes, missed issues, and homeowner confusion again and again, we knew something had to change.

Today, most homes have:

• No structured history
• No smart way to track condition
• No guidance on what to fix or when
• No persistent knowledge passed between owners
• No assistance in actually getting items fixed

The Product Vision

We're not just digitizing inspections. We're creating a living, intelligent layer for homes - one that understands what's happening behind the walls and what should happen next and the AI driven agentic actions to help the homeowner actually get items completed.



Your Role: Co-Founder & CTO

This is a true founding role. You won't be handed specs - you'll create them. You'll lead the technical vision and execution, work side-by-side with the founders, and build a platform that scales from first principles.

You'll own the architecture, hire and mentor the early team, and help shape the culture and cadence of how we build.



Your First Mission: Build the Home Oracle

We're calling our core system the Home Oracle - a multi-agent AI platform that acts as the intelligence layer for every home in the country. This includes:

• Designing a flexible data pipeline to ingest everything from inspection findings and maintenance logs to homeowner Q&A
• Building AI agents that can interpret property conditions, understand natural-language questions, and return clear, practical recommendations
• Implementing vector databases and retrieval systems that keep responses grounded in verified, property-specific data
• Developing context-aware systems that know when to route a query to code interpretation, LLM reasoning, or external tools
• Creating feedback loops so the system improves with use - for every home, every question, every data point
• Developing AI agents to help the homeowner get repairs or maintenance completed
• Working directly with customers to test and iterate in the field

Who We're Looking For

• Stanford CS (or equivalent) with strong fundamentals in systems, AI, and product
• Solid backend skills: Python, Node.js, Go, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure
• Comfortable working with LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, and multi-agent architectures
• You've shipped real products, ideally from 0 1
• You think from first principles and care deeply about solving real-world problems
• You want responsibility, ownership, and the opportunity to shape something lasting
