Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

What You Will Do:

Life Cycle Engineering is conducting a search for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead within the LPWS Program at Raytheon based at Raytheon's Louisville, KY facility.

In this role, you'll directly support multiple Program Managers and will work with cross-functional teams to execute awarded delivery orders, while providing leadership to a team of at least 4 individuals whose tasks support ILS and sustainment activities.

  • Additional responsibilities related to overall support of day-to-day responsibilities for successful program execution will include:
  • Understanding and communicating contract requirements to cross-functional teams
  • Coordination and oversight of day-to-day activities of the Life Cycle Engineering Team, including all ILS tasks, depot support, shipping, Government Furnished Material (GFM), accounting and munitions reporting
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities
  • Actively supporting performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality and EXIM requirements
  • Establish and maintain frequent communication with the customer counterpart to foster collaboration, align on strategic objectives, and drive continuous improvement in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program execution
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and supporting the execution of associated mitigation and capture plans
  • Supporting proposal / estimating efforts, including Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
  • Lead provisioning activities and spares recommendations
  • Domestic & International travel may be required (up to 25%)
  • This position is based at Raytheon's facilities in Louisville, KY and is designated as ONSITE.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically Requires: Bachelor's degree and 8 (eight) years of relevant experience in a military or civilian environment. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience supporting Tech Publications and Depot activities including Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management or Operations
  • Experience leading a team, project, or initiatives
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with Project management skills and experience working directly with leadership stakeholders, with the added advantage of experience working with a Government customer
  • Experience with technical publications and supporting the factory floor (Development, Production or Sustainment phases) Strong communication skills, fostering clear and concise communication in mediating discussions among stakeholders with varying incentives and with customer
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a premium placed on creativity, innovation, and persuasiveness with employees and customers, both internal and external to the organization
  • Experience as a PM Level 6 or equivalent
  • Experience working independently to navigate organizational complexities, track multiple priorities, and obtain resources (through persuasion) to move initiatives forward

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
