Clinical Application Analyst, Ambulatory
Our Digital Technology Services Team is looking for a skilled Ambulatory Analyst to join our team. This position plays a key role in optimizing workflows within outpatient healthcare settings. You will be responsible for configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory modules and supporting the growth of Deaconess Health System through expansion into new outpatient facilities and service lines.

Job Overview:
  • Hybrid or remote position depending on employee location
  • Responsible for Epic Ambulatory application configuration, build, testing, go-live, and ongoing support
  • Coordinate and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot application issues and deliver effective resolutions
  • Solve complex workflow and technical problems with strong attention to detail
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects, with ability to manage timelines and deliverables
  • Analyze and improve clinical workflows in the ambulatory setting for greater efficiency and quality outcomes

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of healthcare IT or clinical application experience, with a strong focus on Epic Ambulatory
  • Epic Certification in Ambulatory or closely related modules preferred or required (depending on position level)
  • Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, scheduling, documentation, and charting practices
  • Experience in Epic system configuration, testing, go-live support, and ongoing maintenance
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations such as HIPAA, CMS standards, and quality reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
