Job Description
The ERP Developer IV is a member of the Ohio University ERP Development team. This is a specialist position that works under minimal supervision primarily in the ERP application and with other third party applications that integrate directly with the ERP application. Provides technical leadership and serves as an enterprise architect for ERP solutions. Responsibilities include creating very complex customizations and extensions to ERP functionality. Designs and develops very complex applications that update data in the ERP system based on very complex criteria and functions. Highly proficient in using delivered ERP functionality to schedule processes, create communications, maintain and transform ERP data, and setting security within the ERP. Very skilled with SOAP and RESTful web services, including consuming third party web services and setting up ERP web services for consumption by third party applications. Troubleshoots and resolves production issues. Very competent to work independently on all phases of the ERP development cycle.
This position would work within our on-premises PeopleSoft Campus Solutions infrastructure. Some Financial Aid Module experience is preferred but development experience within any PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Module is welcome.

The target salary range is $95,101 to $128,385 commensurate with the selected candidate's education and experience while considering internal equity.

- Development - Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the ERP system and integrated third party applications, and all corresponding data. Designs and documents highly complex system configurations, scheduled tasks, customizations, extensions, integrations, etc. Performs ERP development requiring expert knowledge of business processes, source data, SQL and other data manipulation languages, ERP developmental tool features, and integrated third party application functionality. Frequently acts as a senior consultant to less experienced developers, providing technical leadership on complex analysis and programming applications.
- Requirements Gathering - Possesses expert techno-functional knowledge and skills in the ERP and integrated third party systems in order to provide technical input during business requirements gathering and fit gap analyses processes. Conducts analysis of highly complex processes and prepares feasibility studies to evaluate user needs for new or revised systems. Documents, analyzes, and provides effort estimates for highly complex work deliverables.
- Technical Leadership - Identifies and make recommendations for strategic improvements to processes and methodologies. Uses a wide degree of creativity and latitude in researching solutions to highly complex problems. Leads in the formulation of new practices, procedures, and programming standards. Evaluates, proposes, and plans the implementation of new technology solutions. Provides technical leadership, and sometimes provides technical supervision of team members.
- Production Support - Leverages an expert understanding of ERP delivered features to support the user community by effectively participating in analysis, design, and execution of business functions. Assists in troubleshooting with highly complex customizations and extensions to ERP systems, and with integrations to third party applications.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
