The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a data-driven mindset, and a proven ability to build value-driven supplier relationships that support innovation, quality, and sustainability. This role will lead a team of 2 direct reports.

This role will lead a team of 2 direct reports.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end procurement strategy for direct and indirect materials across multiple categories including packaging, raw materials, and third-party manufacturing.
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and spend data to identify savings opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, compliance, and innovation.
- Partner with R&D, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to align procurement strategies with business objectives and product development initiatives.
- Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks, including supplier continuity, geopolitical exposure, and compliance concerns.
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, Intuflow, etc.) to streamline purchasing, track performance, and enhance reporting.
- Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance and the procurement department to identify any issues or risks to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field; MBA a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain role
- Experience leading a team of direct reports
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
- Walking, bending, light lifting to 50 lbs.
