Our Engineering Design Organization is looking for a proactive go-getter with a can-do attitude who thrives on working collaboratively with various teams in an agile and fast-paced environment. As our Senior Electrical Designer working out one of our GTA offices you will play an instrumental role on the Power & Lighting team, supporting design projects involving traffic signals systems, street lighting and power distribution systems.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Preparing designs for projects involving traffic signalization and street lighting systems
- Generating design drawings in MicroStation and AutoCAD environments
- Conducting site investigations and inspections
- Performing material take-offs
- Coordination with design team members
- Performing quality checks of design drawings
- Adhering to project budgets and timelines for deliverables
- Mentoring of junior staff
What you will bring to the team:
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 10 years' related experience
- Excellent knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD / ACC environments
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards and design guidelines, including Ontario Electrical Safety Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Ontario Traffic Manual OTM Book 7, 12 and 12A, IESNA RP-8, and applicable TAC guidelines
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with AGI32 will be considered an asset
- G class driver's license.
