The Construction Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, design builders, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans for manufacturing facility construction.
- Construction Management: Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with internal teams, including CSA, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, optimize resource allocation, and track financial performance against budget.
- Schedule Management: Maintain construction timelines, track progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet project deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections, audits, and performance evaluations to maintain high construction standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports, construction logs, and compliance records for project stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction project management for manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project delivery models.
- Familiarity with OSHA, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and teams effectively.
PREFERRE D QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing construction projects.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
