Project Manager

Summary:

This General Contractor is dedicated to building state-of-the-art facilities for the people of California, including hospitals, schools, libraries, police stations, and office buildings. They have been in operation for over 50+ years and have continued to grow as an organization. Currently they are seeking Project Managers to help manage multiple K-14 projects due to an increased workload. These projects are with various school districts but they have a pipeline of work awarded within the LAUSD so any experience with this school district would be a huge plus. Additionally, they also specialize in Public Works and Municipality work as well.

Responsibilities:

• Due to increased workload, the company is recruiting Project Managers for K-14 projects. The types of project including: New construction, Modernizations, Renovations, would all be accepted. Additional project experience would be: Public Works and Municipality.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Preconstruction phase activities: constructability reviews, value engineering estimating, budget control, prime contract negotiation, and preconstruction schedule management.
• Construction phase activities: overall leadership, staff management, client management, project setup, risk management, document management, subcontractor buyout, schedule management, QA/QC management, change management, submittal and RFI management, financial reporting, and project closeout.
