JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Engineering, Data Warehouse and Integrations will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and scaling of our data warehouse and integration platforms. This role requires a strong technical leader with deep expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, API integrations, and cloud-based data solutions. The manager will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and performant data infrastructure that supports business intelligence, analytics, and operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES
  • Lead and manage the Data Warehouse Development, Integration Engineering, and Production Support Engineering teams.
  • Develop, implement and execute the strategy for the data platform, aligning with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse and ETL processes ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Architect and implement robust API integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the production data platform.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data management, integration, and production support.
  • Lead a team to monitor and optimize data platform performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business intelligence, and operations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for data platform projects and operations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data warehousing, integration, and production support.


KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Strong experience with SQL, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), and integration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and ITIL framework.


EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 15+ years of experience in data engineering, integration development, or production support including 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
