Description:

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years' experience working with cryptographic equipment or overseeing cryptographic deployments
  • Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance
  • Security+ (per DoD Directive 8570.1) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Customer/mission focused, self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal, presentation and technical skills

Serve as Communications Security (COMSEC) Engineer for a classified Intelligence Community Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract that delivers network services to over 400 Subscriber locations. As COMSEC Engineer, you will support the COMSEC Manager and team on all aspects of the Program's communications security efforts.

Responsibilities: Work with COMSEC Manager to ensure a successful COMSEC Program. In accordance with the Program COMSEC Management Plan, ensure COMSEC functions and activities work properly:
  • Configure Program COMSEC devices
  • Maintain and update COMSEC devices
  • Ship and deliver COMSEC devices
  • Repair defective COMSEC devices, at Subscriber locations, or prepare device to return to Depot
  • Retrieving any COMSEC equipment at a location that is no longer in service
  • Order new or replacement COMSEC devices
  • Load key material
  • Ensure COMSEC key remains current
  • Support Subscriber Management functions for over 400 subscriber sites

Overall Program Support: Assist where needed to keep the overall Program successful.
