The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Markham Stouffville Hospital, is currently recruiting a full-time Plastic Surgeon starting July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will join a division of 3 full-time plastic surgeons, providing comprehensive care to our community including shared and equitable on-call. Weekend call is shared regionally and is currently 1 in 9. Access to hospital resources, including operating room time, minor procedure time and clinic time is available. The successful candidate will be working with a strong, supportive and collegial group committed to providing high quality, comprehensive clinical services.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • License to practice independently in Ontario from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO);
  • Plastic Surgery certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent
  • Experience in breast reconstruction or craniofacial surgery would be considered an asset
