ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic marketing plans involving events, tournaments, promotions, and entertainment and reinvestment strategies.
Helps prepare the annual marketing plan and budget aligned with business objectives.
Manage Marketing Communications projects (PR/Social/Advertising/Media).
Ensures all advertising and marketing communications are proofed and details are accurate.
Assists with public relations activities and campaigns to promote the image and awareness of the property in the community and geographic region.
Identify marketing opportunities to enhance market share and gaming revenue through innovative events and promotions.
Helps coordinate and implement strategic alliances with reputable business partners, creating greater brand awareness and financial benefit to Caesars, Virginia.
Routinely and periodically spot checks subordinates' primary job responsibility tasks, tracking mechanisms, and work to ensure compliance with SOPs.
Assist in forecast and budget for all marketing department expenses related to events and promotions.
Establish and implement consistent and organized marketing programs focusing on execution and guest engagement.
Assist with analyses of marketing programs and guest data to optimize promotional efforts.
Manage the Caesars Rewards team and develop programs aimed at maintaining or increasing market share, visitation, new customer acquisition, and gaming revenue.
Work closely with department heads, staff members, and outside vendors to ensure that all marketing efforts align with the organization's overall goals.
Understand and adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures set forth by the VP of Marketing.
Interview, hire, train, and supervise direct staff members.
Provide regular feedback and coaching and conduct annual and mid-year reviews for direct reports using available HR tools.
Oversee overall budgets and scheduling for assigned departments.
Ensure organizational improvements and efficiencies by seeking out best practices and opportunities for innovation.
Anticipate and react to changes in planning assumptions and alter plans as necessary.
Prepares contracts with various vendors, including entertainers, suppliers, charter companies, transportation, advertising services or public relations agencies or group or convention business.
Present updates to plans and provide appropriate explanations and solutions to variances.
Provide current information on all property events, promotions, and marketing performance via daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
Oversee internal property marketing communications.
Work closely with leadership across the property to ensure appropriate coverage and service of the marketing team.
Assist the Vice President of Marketing and other department leaders, as needed.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Advertising, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the management and administration of multiple Marketing functions within a casino/hotel operation.
Customer service experience preferred.
College degree.
Must be able to obtain a Virginia Gaming License.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills required.
Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
Ability to motivate, coach, and train.
Strategic problem-solving skills.
Ability to deal with day-to-day operations.
Must be a proactive change agent.
Should have track record of success in both taking risks and making prudent business decisions.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver in and around the entire casino and hotel area.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
Must be able to converse over the telephone in situations where there is loud and disruptive background noise.
Able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized.
Must be able to work long hours any day of the week and be able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours).
Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk when performing clerical functions.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
