Senior Account Manager, Insurance

The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio as well as pursuing new business.

How you will be Successful

• Act as theprimary client relationship manager in coordination with the account serviceteam
• Provideoutstanding customer service and advisory to your assigned book of business
• Meet withclients in person independently or with senior management
• Ensureday-to-day service requests (certificates, changes etc.) are being met in atimely manner, in coordination with the account service team.
• Conductanalysis of current risk transfer programs
• Designinsurance program strategies and provide creative, alternative solutions basedon client objectives.
• Prepareinsurance submissions and conduct market meetings and negotiations with supportof account service team.
• Monitorchanging risk and insurance issues within the marketplace and advice clients tohelp them better understand their risks.
• Developstrong market relationships
• Atrenewal, ensure all relevant markets are approached in a timely manner (90-120days prior).
• Co-ordinateall renewal options and present to the client 30 days in advance of renewal.
• Ensurepremium finance terms have been furnished with every quote
• Ensurepayment schedule and understanding has been secured from client
• Ensure allaccounts are paid and current within 60 days of inception of coverage.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction and/orreal estate insurance experience
• Knowledge of Applied SystemsEPIC Broker Management System is preferred
• RIBO License is required
• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
• Team orientation with stronginterpersonal skills
• Possess excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail
