AWS Commerce Platform provides the back-end and front-end services that enable AWS customers to purchase AWS services and understand and manage their infrastructure costs. The AWS Payments team within Commerce Platform is bringing innovative payment solutions to our customers across the world. Our team tackles some of the most complex challenges in payments and innovate to enable our customers to run their businesses. We have a position for a customer obsessed product manager who will bring creative payment solutions to our customers. This is a high visibility and high impact role that will work on highly strategic projects to improve the access to Financing for AWS customers, and will interact with all levels of AWS and partner leadership.
As a Product Management Leader at AWS, you'll join our technical leadership community, directly influencing company strategy. You'll collaborate with senior executives on business planning, shape technical and product roadmaps, and contribute to resource allocation decisions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive significant impact in our rapidly expanding AWS Financing team. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure with strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise financing. You'll leverage your experience in scaling complex products to lead innovation and growth in this critical area of our business.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and lead the vision and roadmap for the AWS Financing product offering, ensuring alignment between AWS objectives and customer needs. Include quarterly milestones and success metrics.
2. Lead and contribute to architecture decisions, providing strong data-driven, technical and business recommendations with clear rationale in decision-making processes.
3. Own and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) within the payments domain, implementing robust processes to track product success and customer satisfaction.
4. Partner with cross-functional teams, align coordinate external roadmaps with AWS Financing product strategy and drive lead complex, multi-team initiatives to successful completion. Expected to manage 3-4 major initiatives simultaneously.
5. Communicate and translate complex ideas to diverse audiences, through clear, compelling documentation. Build and maintain relationships with partners and enterprise customers through executive briefings and technical deep-dives to understand their financing needs. Expected to conduct monthly customer meetings and quarterly executive reviews.
6. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle including feature development, pricing strategy, P&L ownership, and go-to-market execution.
7. Mentor and develop product managers across the AWS Commerce Platform organization while helping build and scale high-performing teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
- Experience in advocating for your charter in front of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in building products addressing financing needs for Enterprise customers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
