Responsible for effective labor relations management and solutions for site(s) as assigned. Support the consistent implementation and execution of the Company's Labor Relations strategy and initiatives.
Devise and implement effective strategic labor relations for site(s) as assigned.

Job Description
Responsible for effective labor relations management and solutions for site(s) as assigned. Support the consistent implementation and execution of the Company's Labor Relations strategy and initiatives.
Devise and implement effective strategic labor relations for site(s) as assigned.
- Identify and implement progressive labor relations solutions.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with union leaders.
- Partner with Operations leadership to develop and implement labor solutions.
- Manage and administrate the Company's Labor Relations policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify leadership development training focused on labor relations competencies and facilitate labor training.
- Provide reporting and trend analysis to monitor the site labor relations climate and the ability to identify and develop meaningful labor relations metrics that set benchmarks for service delivery.
- Act as liaison with labor counsel, as necessary.
- Ability to proactively analyze and interpret complex employee data to provide solutions to employee labor relations matters that have an impact on operations
- Conduct thorough and compliant labor relations investigations
- Empower managers relative to labor relations through effective coaching and education.
- Assist with union campaigns and education related to the union organizing process.
- Assist in the development of the negotiation strategy that includes economic and non-economic impacts of the CBA
- Assist in the preparation of the negotiation strategy package to submit for corporate leadership approval
- Develop and maintains a comprehensive library of all CBAs, MOUs/MOAs, negotiation schedules, strategy briefs, grievance & arbitration logs, etc. (e.g., SharePoint site)
- Assist and facilitate Step 3 grievances, arbitrations, and NLRB charges.
- Assist the Labor Relations Director as second chair during the negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Assist site Human Resources and Operations personnel with investigations and the corrective action process
- Provide support with the submission of dues, health and welfare/pension contributions, and audits as necessary.
- Partner with Field Human Resources and Shared Services to help deliver strategic initiatives and tactics, as appropriate including new collective bargaining implementation
- Be an active member of the Labor Relations Team, including identifying and leading projects and initiatives, as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology, or related field, preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with particular emphasis on labor relations and/or associate relations, required
- Previous labor or union campaign experience, required
- 5-7 years of experience in an HR Generalist type role, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including hourly associates, required
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance pertaining to labor relations issues, required
