The Manager, People Operations (HR Business Partner) will serve in a high level strategic and critical thinking role in support of People Operations decision centered around talent, performance, succession, employee conflict and strategic planning. The Manager, People Operations will partner with Director of People Operations and Field RVP's to conceive, design, and implement solutions to advance the capabilities of employees across all levels and will be leading efforts such as performance management, pulse surveys, and leadership development. This position will drive change and will create an adoption environment centered around AEG values and People First culture.

The Manager, People Operations assesses and anticipates Talent needs, conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations, and offers consultative coaching and mentoring centered around proactively bringing talent and leaders to improved communication and collaboration between each other.

  • Will maintain knowledge of state and federal law requirements
  • Will attempt to reduce legal risk using performance management methodologies, behavioral interviewing, leadership development of others and conflict resolution methodologies
  • Will positively and gracefully serve field leaders by offering leadership coaching and mentoring
  • Will serve as a consultant to field management on organizational wide related issues
  • Will maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of state and federal requirements
  • Will attempt to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Will assess and anticipate Talent needs
  • Conducts effective, concise, thorough, and bias free, objective investigations
  • Offers consultative mentoring centered to proactively bring talent and leadership to improved communication and collaboration
  • Will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business financial position relative to Talent Management needs
  • Provides HR-related trainings to field managers as needed
  • Conduct gap engagement surveys and articulate cultural points using analytics
  • Conduct salary and compensation analysis
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all HR-related duties in new acquisitions
  • Provide guidance to employees with leave of absence requests, including FMLA
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • 5 -7 years in a Senior Generalist role or Senior Organizational Development Role
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development preferred
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to build relationships that foster trust and credibility
  • Excellent coaching and feedback skills
  • Solid experience consulting with executives and managers on real-time problems
  • Ability to work on different types of work rapidly; ability to pivot quickly
  • Skilled presenter, facilitator, and communicator
  • Ability to design and execute on projects
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75% if needed
