Here's what your day-to-day might include:
We're looking for a Software Engineer who loves solving problems and making things better. In this role, you'll work closely with users and stakeholders to understand what's needed-then bring those ideas to life through thoughtful design, clean code, and seamless integration.

• Offer insights to improve both documentation and development standards
• Create simple data queries for existing or proposed databases
• Integrate software into new environments and systems
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to keep systems running smoothly
• Design, develop, and enhance software-whether starting from scratch or building on what's already there
• Analyze user needs and turn them into smart software solutions

About This Role:

We're looking for a driven Systems Engineer who's ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute to cutting-edge defense projects that matter. In this role, you'll help shape complex systems from start to finish-collaborating across teams to turn big ideas into reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document system capabilities-you'll work on plans, requirements, and interface docs that bring clarity and direction to development efforts.

• Translate big-picture needs into actionable requirements, ensuring every hardware, software, and human element works together seamlessly.

• Keep systems aligned-you'll maintain compatibility between connected platforms, guide interface design, and manage cross-team collaboration throughout the lifecycle.

• Drive integration and testing, helping ensure everything works as expected-from prototypes through deployment.

• Stay standards-compliant and security-focused, particularly around DoD frameworks, Information Assurance (IA), and certification processes.

• Analyze risk and performance, helping teams make informed decisions and adjustments throughout the development process.

• Support the full system lifecycle, from early concept to final delivery and beyond-ensuring the technical baseline stays strong through change.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university

• No prior experience required-a great opportunity to apply your education and grow your skills

• Don't have a degree? That's okay-four (4) years of software engineering experience working with similar development processes can be substituted in place of a degree

• Clearance:TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Citizenship:Must be a U.S. Citizen

Compensation Range: $152,000.00 - $201,000.00
