We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will work closely with the project team to handle submittals, closeouts, filings, contracts, and subcontractors. This role is crucial for ensuring project success and maintaining smooth operations.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager will work primarily in an office setting with varying hours, mainly from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role will involve direct collaboration with the Project Manager. The company offers a family-oriented atmosphere with great benefits, including above-average pay, 10 days PTO in the first year, 15 days PTO from the second year onward (negotiable), and a vehicle allowance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
10 days PTO year 1, 15 days PTO year 2. 50% health benefits paid by client. Vehicle allowance
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Virginia Beach,VA.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will work closely with the project team to handle submittals, closeouts, filings, contracts, and subcontractors. This role is crucial for ensuring project success and maintaining smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project management including construction, RFI, purchase orders, subcontractor management, and change orders.
- Oversee commercial construction projects and send and track all RFIs.
- Send out field clarifications, ASIs, and other RFPs issued by the owner.
- Distribute inspection reports to all appropriate subcontractors.
- Attend project meetings and write all purchase orders, subcontracts, and maintain the contract status log.
- Maintain the buyout log and assist with submittals.
- Complete closeout procedures and ensure project coordination and document control.
- Handle contract administration and utilize Microsoft Office for various tasks.
- Assist with estimation and manage project-related documentation.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial, retail, healthcare, education, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including understanding construction drawings, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project and P6.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
- PMP and LEED Certifications preferred.
