The Position:
FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to join the HR team and support clients and drive strategic initiatives across multiple regions around the country. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner Leader, this position will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a high-performance culture, drive employee engagement, and enhance talent management practices. This person will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to managers and employees, ensuring that HR initiatives support the overall goals of the organization.

This is a hybrid position in Los Angeles, CA (Marina del Rey).

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)

Strategic HR Support:
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Closely partner with the broader HR team to improve processes, policies, and ensure the team is working towards the same goals.
  • Educate oneself with the business to understand their needs and goals.

Functional HR Management:
  • Manage and facilitate the execution of HR employee lifecycle activities, including but not limited to: onboarding and offboarding, recruitment and retention, compensation planning, organizational design, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Develop strong and meaningful working relationships with client groups and internal stakeholders.

Employee Relations:
  • Be the primary point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on any needed corrective action.

Training and Development:
  • Partner with leaders to identify development needs and coordinate with the Talent team to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and career development, aligning training initiatives with business goals, while ensuring we approach everything through the lens of equality and inclusivity.

Engagement and Culture:
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Immerse oneself into the fabric of the workplace, conduct focus groups to gather feedback, and develop action plans for improvement.

Compliance and HR Policies:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to remain aligned with industry best practices and organizational needs.

HR Analytics:
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on key HR metrics.


The Stats:
(What to bring)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or generalist role.
  • Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including U.S employment and labor laws, employee relations, management and leadership development, performance management, organizational design and compensation philosophies and knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability and desire to work autonomously.
  • Collaborative, creative, agile, and adaptive HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is committed to outstanding client service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the clients' businesses and develop both strategic and tactical solutions to tangible business challenges.
  • An interest in partnering with client groups across a geographically diverse landscape.
  • Proficiency in Workday/HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual base compensation range for this role is $90k - $110k. Final compensation for this role will be determined by a range of factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

The RSNs produce over 3,000 live local professional telecasts each year in addition to a wide variety of locally produced sports events and programs.
