The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Content Coordinator to lead the planning, creation, and oversight of digital communications across the organization. This role is central to shaping LACOE's online presence, integrating multimedia, and web-based strategies to support communication efforts at a countywide level.

The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Knowledge:
  • Principles and practices of public relations, media, marketing and advertising
  • Multimedia production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Basic website development including basic coding or scripting
  • Basic video editing and short form video creation
  • Principles, techniques, practices and production materials used in graphic design, digital image generation, camera-ready art, displays, banners, presentations, and internet web page design
  • Social media best practices and technologies
  • Design software applications such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Artificial Intelligence tools and other new media technologies
  • Research, analysis, and evaluation methods
  • Fundamental concepts of employment laws, codes, and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and Cal/OSHA

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: A bachelor's degree with a major in marketing, advertising, television, graphics, public relations, business or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Experience: Four years of experience developing and implementing graphic and web designs, multimedia campaigns, including two years of lead experience.

Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required.

Hybrid remote schedules may be available.
