Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
This is a full-time, benefitted, position at the Fairfax Vascular Center.
This is a day-shift position (four 10-hour shifts) with a Saturday rotation.
Work is a rotation between the Fairfax Vascular Center and hospitals within the Inova Health system.
No call and no evening shifts!

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Fairfax Vascular Center, you love the idea of working with our team of Interventional Radiologists, as you advance patient care through the innovative integration of imaging-based diagnosis & minimally invasive therapies.
What you'll do:
- Under the direction of the Physician, oversee inpatient and outpatient services at the Fairfax Vascular Center and the Inova Hospitals
- Rounding in the hospitals
- Hospital & FVC: Consults, Rounding, Interventional Radiology procedures
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years' current experience working as a PA or NP
- Procedural based experience is highly preferred to include, but not limited to the following:
- Port placements and removals
- PICC lines and Midlines
- Thoracentesis procedures
- Paracentesis procedures
- IR experience highly preferred
- Procedural based experience is highly preferred to include, but not limited to the following:
- Excellent clinical & interpersonal skills
- Board Certified as PA or NP
- Licensed as a PA or NP in Virginia
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
