Job Summary:
The Manager of Organizational Change Management plays a key role in formulating/executing change management strategies that support complex communications, training, and readiness activities across the organization. This role focuses on change initiatives - including changes to business processes, technology, roles and organizational structure. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management and training plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement. The Manager focuses on implementation strategies and measuring adoption to ensure changes impacting the organization achieve key business objectives.

Essential Functions:
  • On a project-by-project basis, identifies stakeholders and develops a set of actionable and targeted change management plans - including change impact assessment, communication plan, coaching plan, training plan, and resistance management plan.
  • Creates and implements a comprehensive multi-tiered communication strategy to address stakeholders at every level.
  • Enhances and maintains intranet site(s) and/or various media for client related information.
  • Works with project teams to integrate change management and training activities into the overall project plan.
  • Evaluates and analyzes training needs/requirements, including multi-level engagement and multi-tiered training and support.
  • Develops curricula, course outlines, instructional methods (including e-learning content), training aids, manuals, quick guides, glossaries, and other support materials to foster positive organizational change.
  • Manages the design, development, and knowledge transfer (training) based on the redesigned processes and systems.
  • Facilitates a variety of workshops and meetings, including train-the-trainer sessions for subject matter experts.
  • Creates and manages measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Ensures that change management and training issues arising are adequately addressed and resolved.
  • Assists with facilitating focus groups and subsequent findings and makes recommendations as a follow up to readiness assessments.
  • Provides post-implementation support.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes by creating and conducting training surveys and post-implementation interviews.
  • Is an active and visible coach to leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Provides support to ensure adoption and overcome resistance.
  • Proven ability to successfully analyze, plan, lead and execute change management tasks of communications, training, and departmental readiness for complex business.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and continuous iterations within large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong client relationships, influence decisions and work in concert with others to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Superior customer service orientation, self-initiative, ability to take charge, put order to chaos, and drive initiatives through to completion.
  • Superior communication skills including written, oral and presentation development and delivery abilities.
  • Problem solving, root cause identification skills, and strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
  • Must work well in a team environment.


Education Description:
  • Bachelor's degree in change management, training and development, human resources management, organizational development, communications, applied behavioral sciences, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant Supervisor/Manager experience working in a complex, multi-site organization, corporate training and/or internal consultation role utilizing the skills and responsibilities described above may be considered in lieu of minimum education requirements.


Experience:
  • Communications & training planning, design, and execution on broad strategic implementations.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and approaches (for example: Prosci and/or Change Guides methodologies).
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change effort.
  • Change Management Professional designation and/or certification is a plus
