Amazon is seeking a Sales Account Representative to join the K-12 sales team. In this role, the candidate will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer's entire sales journey, including sales calls, product demonstrations, pricing and order placement for book-related products. The position also maintains strong collaborative partnerships with Amazon Business Account Executives to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Drive book program sales to K-12 schools in assigned states while prospecting new accounts
Partner with Amazon Business to represent the company at conferences throughout the year
Conduct business reviews and discovery with customers and prospects to align Amazon Books solutions with their requirements
Maintain accurate account information and sales pipeline in Salesforce, including forecasting and activity prioritization to achieve quarterly quota goals
Provide ongoing account management to develop and grow existing customer relationships
Research and maintain current knowledge of competitive landscape and product offerings
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Books Organization products, features, and functionalities
Collaborate with internal partners to drive deal closure and business growth
Gather and report Voice of Customer feedback to influence product roadmap development
Balance core account responsibilities while managing additional projects when necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
