DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
With a strong focus on growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Channel Development to drive the penetration and development of new business within the companies of Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo (currently established corporate relationships) and other targeted foodservice management companies.
As the Vice President of Channel Development, your first and foremost priority is to "make it rain". You will be a pivotal member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive rapid business growth, increase market share, and enhance client relationships within the Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo channels and throughout the foodservice management space. Your expertise in channel development, coupled with your deep understanding of the food service industry and high-energy work ethic, will be critical in driving our company's success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Channel Penetration Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to effectively penetrate the Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo channels, identifying key decision-makers, trends, and opportunities for business expansion. This will include hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" work to create and execute both strategic and tactical (down to the individual client) account growth plans.
- New Business Development: Lead the identification, targeting, and pursuit of new business opportunities within the designated channels. Collaborate with the sales , marketing and operations teams to develop compelling value propositions and tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from C-Suite to operating levels at Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo and other targeted foodservice management companies. Understand their unique requirements and business objectives to align our offerings and strategies accordingly.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to assess competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging opportunities. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and refine channel strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, operations, finance to ensure alignment of efforts and seamless execution of channel strategies.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: In collaboration with legal and executive team, lead contract negotiations with strategic channel clients. Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and compliant with company policies.
- Accountability, Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to create and maintain accountability and track the effectiveness of channel management strategies. Deliver top line and bottom line results in in line with our sales and internal financial plans. Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership: After proving your ability to drive strong business growth as an individual contributor, recruit, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of channel managers and business development professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Individuals with the expertise and experience for this role typically have a minimum of 10 years of experience is progressive sales and business development roles including leadership experience
- High energy "DNA. "No excuses", make it happen attitude.
- Proven track record of successfully penetrating and expanding business within the food service industry, with specific experience selling into or creating partnerships with Aramark, Compass, and Sodexo channels preferred.
- Strong network of contacts and relationships within the industry.
- Demonstrated record of driving rapid business growth through personal efforts and abilities.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and performance metrics.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
