This critical leadership position will serve as the key technology leader for material planning, logistics, and fulfillment functions. You will be responsible for the technical and operational excellence of our supply chain technology portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of IT investments, and providing exceptional operational support.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain technology strategy that optimizes cost, quality, and delivery performance across our global operations.
- Lead the strategic integration of material planning, logistics, fulfillment, and planning functions, ensuring seamless interoperability across our ecosystem.
- Drive innovation by exploring and implementing future-forward technologies that power material planning and fulfillment, including advanced analytics, AI/ML, and digital twin capabilities.
- Own the full lifecycle of IT investments, from governance and budgeting to contract management, execution, and value realization
- Champion the adoption of agile delivery and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, observability) to accelerate solution delivery and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business partners, suppliers, and internal technology teams
- Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the supply chain technology team.
- Empower and develop your team through mentorship, coaching, and targeted skill development programs.
- Ensure our technology solutions align with Ford's enterprise architecture, data strategy, and technology standards.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology and software functions, with a focus on supply chain management.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing technology teams.
- Deep functional knowledge of supply chain business processes and applications.
- Proven experience integrating and implementing data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning solutions to deliver tangible business value.
- Hands-on experience across the entire application and technology lifecycle.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain technology strategies.
- Deep expertise in supply chain business processes, applications, and emerging technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and enterprise technology

- Familiar with data platform and/or building data products
- Experience with advanced analytics models (predictive, prescriptive, machine learning, simulation, statistical, AI and generative AI, etc.) to solve complex supply chain problems
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments through leadership, rigorous execution, teamwork, strategic planning/scheduling, problem analysis, resolution, and productivity improvements.
- Delivering in product operating model with deep experience with agile delivery methods & tools
- Manage portfolio level financials & budgets and guide regular financial reporting for the portfolio and major development projects
- Ability to interact extensively with and influence senior business leaders, technology partners and vendors.
- Implementation experience with multiple delivery models - including supplier-led engagements, custom and off-the shelf solution developments involving strong supplier management skills and effective negotiation skills.
