Transportation Design Project Engineer - Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with or lead transportation planning and engineering studies on a variety of exciting projects throughout Wisconsin
- Prepare environmental and design documentation including report writing
- Work on automated highway design to include plan preparation, drainage design, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating
- Participate in and/or lead public involvement activities
- Assist with project pursuits including the preparation of proposals, project interview support, and estimating level of effort for new projects.
- Serve as a technical resource for project staff and assist with their professional development
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Transportation Design Project Engineer - Skills and Requirements:
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
- 8+ years of transportation design experience.
- A professional engineering license from the State of Wisconsin is required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Experience with the WisDOT facilities development process is highly preferred
- Applicable U.S. based work experience.
