Summary/objective:
As a Director, you will use management, analytical and critical thinking skills to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry. You will have opportunities to grow professionally by increasing your technical knowledge and capability to provide oversight & guidance for project-specific staff for multiple projects at a time.
The Director will plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large projects or several small projects with many complex features for healthcare clients. You will be expected to support and lead sales visits calls, pursue follow on work, write proposals, make customer presentations, and perform other duties as assigned. You will supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a small staff of engineers, other professionals, and technicians and estimate personnel needs and schedules and assign work to meet completion dates.
Our project work will require direct involvement in designing and implementing highly efficient and effective healthcare operations. You will use proven and practical data-driven techniques to support and validate the creative and ground-breaking principles of cutting-edge healthcare operations.

As a Senior Manager, you will combine quantitative methods, strategic thinking, and innovative technology to impact our nation's premier hospitals and health systems. You will work with a diverse team of engineers, architects, clinicians, and executives, contribute to the design of healthcare facilities, and plan operations that enable the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective patient care. Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related supply chain field (Master's Degree preferred) in addition to 8+ years of experience is preferred)
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Strong analytical experience related to degree with significant experience (in a hospital or medical facility environment preferred), conducting cost analysis, layout design, and/or operations improvement required.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Environment:
Primarily a controlled office environment. Client sites could consist of hospital environments or warehouse operations, and conditions may vary.
Physical Demands:
St Onge Company operates both hybrid and remote office options. Client site visits may entail walking tours through the hospital support service and patient care areas. Projects may entail lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is client dependent and typically ranges from 10-25%. Travel will vary from project to project. Travel may be extensive at times and less extensive at other times and may include occasional overnights. Travel may be local car travel, regional train travel, or domestic or international Air travel.

Experience Requirement:
- 12+ years of job-related experience.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing staff members is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data in databases and spreadsheets. (A high level of proficiency in MS Excel or MS Access or other database tools, MS Office, and MS Project).
- High attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous improvement
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Potentially responsible for one or more direct reports
- At a project level, personnel development, and management of Analysts and possibly Engineers.
- Mentor Analyst and Engineers by taking a personal interest in their development.

- Serves as a senior project leader for complex projects that require advanced technical and project management expertise.
- Serves as a subject matter expert during the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities through the architectural process. This may include supporting healthcare operations improvement projects.
- Review project statement of work, identify resource requirements, break work into assignable tasks to be completed by self and/or supporting staff.
- Develop and manage project schedule(s) and associated deliverable requirements.
- Manage scope changes, project budgets, project invoicing and timely payment follow-up.
- Manage communication with clients and internal staff that includes project client presentations, emails, correspondence, meeting minutes and coordination.
- Lead project execution teams and responsible for mentoring, oversight, and tasking less experienced analysts / engineers on projects.
- Provides guidance and support on complex solution development & recommendations.
- Assist in performing analyses (when needed), developing presentations and deliverables that 'tell the story' for our findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Provide technical review of project analyses and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
- Actively identifies follow on work, writing proposals for new or follow-on work scopes, and may support sales visits (as requested).
