We're seeking someone to join our team as a Supplier Operations & Shared Services (SOSS) Data & Analytics Director to deliver insights based on data analysis/reporting solutions to provide transparency and help determine opportunities to optimize Third Party expenses. This position will require a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and an understanding of the third-party source to pay processes. The candidate will optimize the data insights landscape, transforming data to its most granular form and classifying/enriching it to drive insights and subsequently enable the organization to continue its mission in optimizing Third Party spend.

This is a Director level position within the Sourcing / Procurement team, which is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).

What you'll do in the role:
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across sourcing and the Firm to turn business requirements into solutions that drive meaningful reporting and analytics.
  • Responsible for the accurate production of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics regarding savings, productivity, spend and other performance measures.
  • Leverage the business intelligence tools (SQL, Tableau, Excel) and source to pay datasets (Accounts Payable, Ariba, and others) to translate complex concepts into simplified presentations or analyses that can drive commercial value.
  • Monitor and action a healthy pipeline of deliverables to ensure they are correctly prioritized and completed on time.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the data model and leverage/write complex queries for large volumes of data (joins, functions, sub queries, etc.) to support BAU and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Create project plans independently and leverage the appropriate resources to drive these projects to the finish line.


What you'll bring to the role:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a professional setting with a strong focus on reporting and data analytics.
  • Analytical skills with experience in using objective data to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Client management and teamwork skills: Demonstrated ability in being flexible and working with stakeholders and colleagues at all experience levels, as well as external counterparts.
  • Experience with Ariba On Demand, accounts payable and expense management data (preferred).
  • Industry experience with sourcing, procurement, and expense management (preferred).
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as SQL, Tableau (preferred), and advanced Microsoft Office Skills; PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
