POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by conducting market research, analyzing customer data, and providing insights to drive strategic sales decisions. This position is responsible for managing the customer database, setting up and improving the CRM system, and assisting in sales operations to enhance efficiency. This position reports to the Manager of C&I Strategic Sales or another member of senior management that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based out of our Teaneck, New Jersey office, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager's discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote options could be considered for exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market intelligence to provide actionable insights for the sales team
  • Manage and analyze customer data to develop tailored sales strategies for individual customers and customer groups, optimizing engagement and conversion rates
  • Maintain and enhance the customer database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer profiles, sales history, and interaction records
  • Develop, implement, and refine the CRM system to support internal sales processes, ensuring usability and alignment with business objectives
  • Generate sales performance reports and customer insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth
  • Support sales operations by coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as SCM, Finance, and Legal, to facilitate smooth sales processes and resolve operational challenges
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall sales efficiency and effectiveness

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of sales operations experience for an inbound or outbound sales organization
  • 5+ years of experience in working with sales CRM tools, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or others
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical and organized
  • A high degree of professionalism and conduct


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the solar industry is a plus!

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job's minimum qualifications.
