Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Lightning Developer to support the development, customization, and migration efforts within our Service Cloud platform. This role will be integral to a critical Employee Relations / Labor Relations ALM project aimed at transitioning users to the Salesforce Lightning platform. The ideal candidate will be a proficient individual contributor, able to work independently and deliver high-quality work efficiently across complex Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to interpret and implement functional requirements within Salesforce.
  • Design and develop custom Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, Lightning Pages, and custom layouts/apps in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce flows, automation, and email templates aligned with business use cases.
  • Develop and maintain secure system integrations following Salesforce and industry best practices.
  • Play a key role in the migration from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Apply a deep understanding of Salesforce User Security protocols, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Maintain documentation for customizations and configurations to support ongoing operations and future enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across Apex, LWC, and integrations in a timely manner.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Lightning platform.
  • Proven experience working with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
  • Proficient in developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning migration projects and understanding of related challenges and best practices.
  • Strong command of Salesforce security features including user authentication, data access, and object-level security.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and other declarative tools.
  • Ability to act as a self-driven individual contributor with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with integrations involving third-party APIs.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools like Copado or Gearset for Salesforce deployments.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and ALM tools like JIRA.


Education: Bachelors Degree
