Description:

We are seeking a Community Outreach Supervisor to lead a team of Community Outreach Representatives to build community awareness, trust, and understanding of their rights, helping them choose our team for representation in their fight for justice. This role is central to client acquisition and drives efforts to connect with those who have been harmed. Success is measured by how effectively we convert potential clients and build long-term relationships that advance their pursuit of justice.

This role oversees daily office functions, including coaching, tracking team performance, engaging with the community, and coordinating community events. It involves developing strategic plans to increase local awareness, building partnerships with community organizations, and fostering a positive team culture. Experience in community engagement, marketing, or branding is essential, along with a well-established network in the local area.

The Community Outreach Supervisor supports our marketing partners and creative team by adapting messaging, content, and outreach efforts to community needs. They also plan and execute events to reach potential clients and guide them through the onboarding process, ensuring each community member understands how our representation can help them through the legal and recovery process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign project plans, tasks and responsibilities to team members, which includes potential new client engagement, follow-ups, meetings in the community, and creative ways to get the message out.
  • Create small community events and in-office event plans to invite the community to learn more information surrounding the tragedy and their rights.
  • Leverage all known networks, organizations, and communities to align with our efforts.
  • Drive the community and those impacted to our community events, office events, and gatherings to learn more about our efforts, experience and services.
  • Implement processes to convert potential new clients into clients.
  • Ensure the process for tracking potential clients is accurate.
  • Ensure the process for how potential clients sign up and where the information is sent is being followed.
  • Manage and have in-depth understanding of duties and responsibilities being performed by Community Outreach Representatives.
  • Collaborate with our creative team, legal team, marketing partners and other external partners to ensure marketing content such as digital ads, tv, radio, mailers, collateral, and other assets have the right messaging, facts, and legal approval.
  • Collaborate with legal to ensure client updates cover Community Outreach initiatives.
  • Develop team members to live and breathe our values and stay up-to-date on what is happening on the legal side to better answer clients' questions.
  • Manage Community Outreach office hours and aid team with time-off, communicate with HR, and follow policies and procedures as specified.
  • Support team members on their needs and creative ideas for how to get more people to signup.
  • Support team members with their needs and promote an inclusive environment.
  • Schedule and lead larger town hall set-up and logistics as needed.
  • Provide daily progress reporting and updates to your manager.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Services, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in client relations, customer service, sales, or account representative roles with an excellent track record of success.
  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working with community members from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining community partnerships.
  • Knowledge of local community organizations and resources.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications and data tracking tools.
  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with building, mobilizing, leading and developing outreach teams (i.e., social services, disaster relief, political advance and campaign) to execute a program or service.
  • Event planning and project management experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Occasional need to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Frequent need for oral, written, and auditory communication.
  • Prolonged periods working on a computer.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful services environment.
  • Occasional need for travel.
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 per year

This position is based in-office in Pasadena, CA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
