RESPONSIBILITY:
What You'll Do
  • Lead & Inspire: Drive process improvements and support the engineering and document control team to become self-starting, proactive contributors.
  • Coach & Mentor: Help your team grow and thrive, turning potential into performance.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work directly with customers, engineering groups, and various departments to enhance designs and processes.
  • Manage & Organize: Oversee the document control department, ensuring timely completion of internal and external projects.
  • Innovate & Troubleshoot: Utilize your technical expertise in SMT equipment, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and more to solve complex problems.
  • Develop & Design: Create reflow profiles, design stencils, and provide technical support for selective and wave solder processes.
  • Analyze & Improve: Conduct defect reviews, root cause analysis, and write pre- and post-build DFM reports.
Technology Development
  • Stay Ahead: Research industry trends and establish a technology roadmap to keep Microboard ahead of the curve.
  • Lead the Future: Assess internal capabilities, monitor disruptive technologies, and inform the leadership team on the latest EMS trends.
Sales & Customer Support
  • Partner & Prospect: Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to support sales efforts, provide technical support, and contribute to accurate quotations.
  • Support & Succeed: Work with program management to meet customer requirements and explore new sales opportunities.


New Product Introduction
  • Guide & Innovate: Support the NPI process, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost management.
  • Develop & Deliver: Oversee manufacturing process development, quick turn production, and robust component programs.
Operations Support
  • Select & Validate: Assist with new equipment selection and validation planning.
  • Resolve & Support: Provide technical support to resolve complex manufacturing issues.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 10 years in electronic manufacturing services, 5 years in new product introductions.
  • Expertise: Extensive knowledge of PCBA processes, client-facing experience, Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office, PCB design, and CAD tools.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lead change and manage projects.

Salary:

Range: $180K-$220K
