Nemours is seeking a Manager, Systems Admin Configuration to join our Nemours Children's Health team in either Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.
This is a hybrid position.
The Manager of the Configuration Management team has several responsibilities. The Manager of the Configuration Management team will manage a group of Endpoint Administrators responsible for the configuration of the workstation operating system image via the use of Microsoft SCCM and Intune using Co-management. With the implementation of these cloud-bases services, the team is responsible for devices management, application management, conditional access policies and security helping keep the devices secured and in compliance. This team also manages modern technologies for deploying, updating and managing Windows devices such as Microsoft Autopilot and Auto patching. In addition, the team's responsibilities include maintaining current Windows/Mac desktop images, creating various software packages for deployment or making available via the Software Catalog, and deploying security patches across workstations and servers. This role will establish controls to ensure proper workstation & server testing and coordinated deployment of any change that affects workstations and servers across the enterprise. Changes include security patches, configuration changes, PC software deployments, Group Policy settings, encryption etc. Coordination and communication of impact to the business would be a key requirement of this role. In addition to these responsibilities, the team also manages mobile devices via Microsoft Intune and include supporting device upgrades, maintenance of infrastructure to support specific application deployment to mobile devices, mobile applications, device management and protection policies, etc. Maintaining an open channel communication with multiple teams such as InfoSec, etc. is crucial to keep these devices compliant.
Another function of the Configuration Management team is to provide IT support to Nemours executive team. The team plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IS and the executive team. The Configuration Management liaison coordinates changes and projects, ensures clear communication, gathers requirements and needs and expedites troubleshooting issues engaging vendors and other IS teams as needed. The Configuration Management liaison communicates issues and concerns to management as raised by the executive team and provides support during major events such as townhalls, etc.
This role will also be responsible for software license management ensuring all software is properly licensed and compliant with vendor agreements, optimizing the use of software licenses to avoid unnecessary costs is an important function of this role. This involves identifying unused or underused licenses and reallocating them as needed as well as managing software vendor relationships. Additionally, this role manages several vendor relationships such Real Time Location vendor which provides support for the location of devices and environmental monitoring technologies provided by this vendor. This role manages any communication to the organization related to the applications from these vendors.
This is an enterprise wide function, involving heavy focus on process improvement, establishment of controls and policy enforcement. Establishing a strong partnership with our Corporate Information Security team is essential. With Technology and Data security being at the forefront of the Healthcare industry, the team will assist with implementing and maintaining endpoint security tools, managing Conditional Access Policies and configurations including malware, antivirus, system access levels, security policies, encryption etc.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience required.
- Strong technical understanding, specifically with Microsoft SCCM, Group Policy and Server OS management.
