The OSQ Finance team has an immediate opportunity for a strong analyst who is interested in broadening their network and business acumen while enacting positive change across the Raytheon organization. This will be a supporting analyst role, responsible for analyzing strategic operations, supply chain, and quality (OSQ) execution opportunities by modeling financial impacts to current and proposed processes, systems, or products. This position will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting of assigned metrics while supporting as needed material procurement opportunities through Best Value Source Selections and Make/Buy/Where analysis. This role will report directly to the OSC Finance Manager but will support the existing Lead Analyst.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do:
- Support Lead Analyst with Best Value Source Selections (BVSS) and Make/Buy/Where (M/B/W) analysis for material procurement
- Support supplier ratings and financial health assessment updates for new PO placements
- Help implement process/reporting improvements through modeling and simulations.
- Track monthly factory capacity and utilization metrics to proactively identify insourcing opportunities
- Track quarterly material inflation impacts and projected total year material inflation opportunities
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically candidates will have a bachelors degree and 2 years' financial based experience or an advanced degree and less than 2 years experience.
- Experience working in a finance role
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems and all Microsoft Office tools, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in an independent role tasked to develop, update, and status financial and performance metrics and analysis-driven reports
- Background and understanding of various financial systems (PRISM, ERPM, etc.)
- Confidence and courage to effectively lead, present, and participate in both large and small meetings and status sessions, even when delivering bad news or disagreeing with management
- Ability to quickly learn advanced financial and planning skills required for multitasking and to create support plans and schedules for projects of varying sizes in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent speaking and presentation skills
- Understanding of production or similar schedule-driven environment within a profit-driven business based on practical experience, including the ability to discuss Profit and Loss (P&L) relationships from contracts to cost analysis
- Problem-solving abilities that bridge production realities to financial commitments
- Attention to detail while working within Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Microsoft analysis, SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, Business Warehouse)
