About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled CAPSIL Developer to join our growing team! If you have a strong background in mainframe technologies, deep understanding of life insurance operations, and a passion for solving complex business challenges, this is your chance to work on impactful projects that modernize legacy systems and drive innovation in the insurance space.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, support, and enhance CAPSIL application components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Work on policy administration systems and batch processing jobs in a mainframe environment.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex business problems using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
- Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of applications in production.
- Support integration with external systems and ensure seamless data processing.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in CAPSIL application development and support.
- Strong domain knowledge in life insurance products and operations.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS on IBM Mainframe.
- Experience in batch processing and policy administration systems.
- Ability to understand and optimize mainframe data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with modernization projects (e.g., Guidewire, LifeSys, or other digital platforms).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Knowledge of SQL, DB2, and integration strategies with external systems.
- Exposure to testing tools and release management processes.
