Role Description:
Arcadis' Resilience Water team is seeking a National Practice Leader to shape and lead our national strategy for climate risk and asset resilience. This senior role reports to the Resilience Water Management Practice Director and may be based in Arlington, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh, San Francisco, Seattle, or Virginia Beach.
Role Accountabilities:
As National Practice Leader, you'll drive innovation and strategic delivery to help protect critical infrastructure-such as water systems, hospitals, and enterprise assets-from climate and manmade threats. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.

- Lead strategy and delivery of asset and climate risk resilience services, including methodology development (e.g., J100), innovation initiatives, and portfolio-level risk assessments.
- Serve as technical and pursuit lead on major proposals, overseeing scope development, pricing strategies, and delivery planning to secure high-impact projects.
- Foster executive client relationships, providing strategic guidance on resilience challenges while expanding Arcadis' market presence and reputation.
- Develop and mentor internal talent, support recruitment, manage team capacity, and cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Represent Arcadis at national conferences and industry forums, contributing thought leadership, tracking market trends, and informing business strategy.
- Travel (up to 25%) to support national client engagements and project delivery.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Earth Sciences, or a related field
- 10 years of consulting experience with an environmental or management consulting firm-or equivalent public sector experience
- 5 years leading climate risk and asset resilience-related projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Planning, Engineering, Earth Sciences, M.B.A., M.P.A., Economics, or related field
- Relevant certification(s), such as PE, AICP, PMP, or equivalent
