Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of IT Services to lead technology initiatives and drive innovation within our organization and with our clients. This role will be responsible for developing and overseeing IT strategy, governance, and policy, as well as planning and overseeing complex IT programs and projects. The Director will provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, while fostering growth and business development opportunities.

**This position is located in our Baltimore, MD or Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable**

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for IT programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Interface with key stakeholders, including clients, government officials, and internal teams.
Lead the IT team in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in program delivery.
Oversee day-to-day operations and personnel management within IT programs.
Allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to support program implementation.
Drive the development and implementation of new technologies and solutions to support organizational needs.
Conduct needs assessments and develop IT strategic plans.
Oversee financial management of IT programs, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and providing financial reports to stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client counterparts, government officials, and other stakeholders.
Identify growth opportunities within IT programs and develop strategies to expand services and offerings.
Collaborate with the business development team to drive growth.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on large, complex government programs.
Extensive industry experience in IT solutions, architecture, and best practices with a high level of subject matter knowledge.
Proven track record of successful leadership in managing complex IT programs and diverse teams.
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
Excellent leadership and management skills to guide teams toward program success.
Ability to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in IT program delivery.
Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and financial reporting.
Superior oral and written communication skills to convey complex issues and reports to stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to see the connection between layers of business applications.
Ability to communicate (speaking or writing) in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is desired.
Experience working with Tribal communities and understanding Tribal data and IT systems is desired.
Experience working with state and local government data and IT systems is desired.
Experience in a consulting capacity and public sector consulting experience is a plus.
Experience in consulting or working with the Administration for Children and Families or other childcare and/or welfare programs at the state or local level is a plus.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, concurrently.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $125,500.00 - $247,100.00.
