Job Summary:

Reporting into the VP FP&A, this position will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the commercial organization at Highridge Medical, specifically Sales and Marketing. This role will be responsible for providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and support to ensure the achievement of key organizational objectives. Role will focus heavily on the US markets along with strong partnerships to OUS teams and Executive Leaders across those markets.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial partner to the commercial functions at Highridge Medical
  • Support performance management and commercial excellence efforts of sales organization
  • Develop and enhance recurring reporting that support leading KPIs and key business objectives with a strong emphasis on finding efficiencies and opportunities for automation
  • Support VP of FP&A in the annual operating plan process along with recurring forecast requirements
  • Support special projects that relate to the commercial strategy of different markets, regions, brands, etc.
  • Assist in traditional commercial finance responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
  • Sales and Profitability analysis and reporting on a market, brand, account, etc. basis along with supporting forecasting efforts of the organization
  • Variance reporting and cost management efforts across the Sales and Marketing organizations
  • Support the development of the combined annual operating plan and subsequent projection updates
  • Serve as a resource and problem solver for leadership across different cross-functional areas
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly financial review meetings
  • Support efforts around territory management and incentive compensation
  • Other ad hoc requests/reporting
  • Stay abreast of market dynamics that may have a material impact on the commercial finance business partners and Highridge Medical

  • Must be able to effectively use standard desktop software (Excel, PowerPoint, databases, etc.) as well as fully integrated ERP systems (examples include SAP and Oracle) with emphasis on leveraging platforms to drive efficiencies in analysis and reporting
  • Must be flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to effectively delegate and distribute assignments.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group including the Global Finance organization, Senior Management outside of the Finance function, and the Executive Management group. Ability to connect the dots between various stakeholders of a Global Organization.
  • Must be able to identify and take ownership of significant issues as they arise.
  • Must be able to make concise, effective, and professional presentations to senior management.
  • Must be able to quickly analyze issues, determine what other persons or groups are needed to address the issue, and take necessary steps to assemble the group to drive resolution.
  • Must be willing to take an active role in mentoring and developing staff.
  • Must understand culture differences within a global company and be able to effectively communicate and work with those globally.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis


Education/Experience Requirements
  • B.S. degree in finance or accounting, MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Proven track record of strategic financial leadership and business partnering
  • Experience managing and developing a staff of finance professionals is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in corporate finance activities including, but not limited to, M&A modeling, investor relations, and other strategic modeling.
