Stonegate Senior Living, in Lewisville, TX, a premier provider of support services to senior living communities, is searching for a dynamic Vice President of Clinical Reimbursement to the lead the organization's clinical reimbursement functions for its 30+ managed skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living and inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

Working in tandem with the Chief Operating Officer and VP of Clinical Services, the VP of Clinical Reimbursement will oversee the performance of the clinical reimbursement specialists. Ensuring education and compliance with prospective pay systems (PPS) per center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. This position provides direction and supervision to the clinical reimbursement and coding teams.

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years in a leadership role for a multi-facility skilled and long-term care organization.
  • Leadership in directing and implementing change.
  • Experience in providing staff training, development and consultation.
  • Expertise in Minimum Data Set (MDS) / Care Planning and proficiency in Resident Assessment.
  • Expertise in CMS Quality Measures and Quality Payment programs.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Assessment Coordination (AANAC) certification as assessment coordinator (RAC-C Resident Assessment).
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance Reimbursement.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, and senior leaders.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, organizational and customer service skills.
  • Goal-orientated, with experience and ability to develop and implement focused action plans.
  • Basic knowledge of performance improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Office).
  • Clinical Software proficiency.
