Position Purpose: Project Lead for Medicare regulatory required and benefit related materials to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and alignment with administrative policies. Position supports CNC Medicare Solutions portfolio nationwide with pre-sale and member enrollment materials. Leads cross-functional workgroups to improve and promote understanding of development activities to ensure compliance and create efficiencies.

  • Responsible for the development, production, and quality review of Medicare regulatory required materials, pre-sale materials, and post enrollment member materials, as directed. Ensures compliance with State and Federal laws, accreditation standards, internal operations, and products.
  • Acts as a project lead for the development, production, and/or audits of both written and web-based materials as needed on an annual basis. Also participates in ad hoc auditing and change initiatives and testing when assigned.
  • Leads teams in material development, benefit and compliance analysis. Provides support and guidance as needed on complex projects.
  • Leads cross-functional teams and workgroups to promote understanding of development activities, assist in review activities, and ensure compliance.
  • Ensures timely completion of annual materials and/or regulatory required materials in accordance with all state and federal guidelines with a high degree of accuracy. Helps lead the development of templates, language libraries and all internal sources of truth needed to create materials.
  • Within the Automation Team, works within materials automation platform on more complex programming to generate, update and review materials. Performs audits of benefits, language and content to ensure accuracy and consistency with CMS filed benefits, models, and templates.
  • Triages and assigns material development tasks and audits on an ongoing basis, communicating with stakeholders and material authors as necessary to determine appropriate review or audit process. May assist in auditing as needed to support business partners.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert. Able to work independently and serve as a resource to support others with minimal direction. Proactively communicates status updates and escalate as needed.
  • Develops training tools to support material development, regulatory regulation monitoring, training, and execution. Trains peers in review, development and/or automation tasks.
  • Independently looks for opportunities for process improvements or identifies process gaps to enhance existing materials and processes.
  • Ownership of specific processes within the team and provides guidance to leadership on key decisions
  • Able to make decisions without guidance from leadership when appropriate and represents the team in cross-functional meetings.
  • Creates detailed workplan with thorough consideration of upstream dependencies, downstream impact, resources availability, timeliness and other necessary factors.
  • Provides product-related status reporting to management and stakeholders on a routine and ad hoc basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field such as Health Care Administration, Managed Care, Business, Legal and Communications or equivalent experience will be considered. 5+ years experience in Medicare, MA or MMP materials or documents, Health Insurance, Health care administration. Prior experience developing member communications preferred. Experience acting as a subject matter expert or team lead preferred.

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
