You will manage our emergency services team that specializes in providing emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach. As the Nurse Manager of Emergency Services, you will lead:
- Staff Management - Empower your team by development, education and goal driven strategies.
- Business Growth and Improvement - Further improve patient care experience while growing our service lines.
- Operations & Throughput - Optimize workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Budget & Resource Management - Maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Quality & Safety - Champion best practices and patient-centered care.
- Collaboration - Fosters open, direct communication between personnel, patients, and physicians for a strong partnership of patient care and team environment.
What is the ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or commitment to obtain MSN within 5 years of hire)
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Surgical Services
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting. Budget management experience is preferred.
- Current Massachusetts RN licensure (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Certification is Surgical Services Nursing (to be completed within 2 years of employment).
