Job Summary
The ServiceNow Product Owner is responsible for collecting and prioritizing requests from business stakeholders, documenting requirements, creating user stories, and collaborating with developers and architects. The Product Owner will also act as the voice of the business during iteration planning and present product features at sprint demonstrations.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and prioritize requests by business stakeholders.
- Work with internal customers to document requirements for features.
- Prepare and participate in backlog refinement.
- Create user stories and development of story acceptance criteria.
- Act as the voice of the business during iteration planning with developer team.
- Understand the scope of the upcoming development to collaborate with Architects on decision-making and sequencing.
- Present product features at sprint demonstrations to end users, managers, and executives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst or product owner in a ServiceNow environment.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, modules, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ServiceNow Certifications preferred.
