The Security and Controls Solution Designer plays a critical role in the design, communication, implementation, and seamless transition of Identity and Access Management (IAM) security solutions to operations. This position is responsible for creating detailed Solution Design Documents (SDD) by analyzing architecture, business and technical requirements, and leveraging industry best practices.
The Solution Design Document will encompass four key components: IAM Automation, RBAC Application Security, SoX Controls, and Segregation of Duties (SoD). The designer will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the document aligns with organizational objectives and obtain the necessary approvals before moving forward.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security Architecture, Security Governance, Project Teams, and Security and Controls Delivery teams, to gather essential information for the Solution Design Document (SDD) analysis.
- Document all aspects of the Security Solution with precision and attention to detail, ensuring clarity and thoroughness.
- Create clear, concise, and well-organized documentation that is accessible and easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all documentation, keeping it current and aligned with the actual implementation of the security solution.
- Obtain necessary approvals for each SDD and ensure it is regularly updated throughout the delivery lifecycle as required.
- Maintain consistency across all documentation, ensuring that there is no conflicting or contradictory information.
- Engage in test strategy development and assist in the preparation of test cases to verify that the security solution is implemented according to the specifications outlined in the SDD.
General Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Writing and Documentation Skills: Strong ability to create clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation for complex security solutions.
- IAM Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) security concepts and technologies, with specific expertise in SAP and Saviynt.
- Application Knowledge: Proficiency with key IAM applications, including SAP, Saviynt, ServiceNow, and Active Directory.
- Expertise in IAM Domains: In-depth knowledge of IAM Automation, RBAC Application Security, SoX Controls, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting informed and quick decision-making.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong capability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with cross-functional groups, maintaining a focus on shared goals.
