Sr Director, Product Management
What does a successful Sr. Director, Product Management do at Fiserv?
As a successful Sr. Director of Product Management in the Merchant Acquiring organization, you will ensure that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to our clients. You will serve a meaningful role in driving solutions while ensuring client satisfaction and partnership with stakeholders across the company.
What you will do:
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and update collateral that showcases platform capabilities and aligns with customer needs.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical resources, to support sales efforts and facilitate customer education.
Oversee the product roadmap, driving the development of new features focused on payment streamlining, integration of new payment methods, fraud prevention, and enhanced reporting capabilities
Lead platform rationalization and consolidation efforts to streamline operations, eliminate redundancies, and optimize resource utilization.
Oversee the development of new functionality, implementations, and operational support for eCommerce processing
Lead product innovation sessions focused on payment solutions, collaborating with clients to streamline customer experience and drive growth
Collaborate with account teams to scope and define implementation work, ensuring successful go-live for clients
Troubleshoot and provide solutions for client issues encountered during processing, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations
Managed product development across multiple pods, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of client/product requirements
Engage with clients on how to solve for specific business needs, including consulting and solution recommendations based on software functionality
Partner with clients on how to use technology while continuing to achieve business/compliance goals
Partner with product managers, sales and technology to support implementation and platform changes
Support IT counterparts with design and/or development of solutions for client specific requests
Assist with resolution of technical client requests that require research and/or non-developer implementations

What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field required
- 10+ years product management experience
- 5+ years people management experience
- Proven knowledge of APIs and related systems
- 7+ years of experience in the Payments or Financial Services Industry
- 7+ years of experience with business architecture and/or translating business requirements into, (high level) solutions
- Experience vetting technical requirements with clients
- Strong experience in relationship building, with both Internal and External business partners
What would be great to have:
- Technical or solutions consulting experience
- Experience with agile methodologies that leverage scrum teams and pods
- Background and experience generating revenue growth for clients by finding opportunities to utilize product or service functions
- Experience with championing and providing consulting recommendations to support system enhancements/modernization
