Position Description
Tacoma Power is looking for a strategic results-oriented Senior Business Service Analyst, to join their Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team. The incumbent will be a member of the EHS Leadership team and will partner with stakeholders across Tacoma Power, Tacoma Public Utilities and Tacoma Safety to effectively support the development and deployment of Safety and Environmental programs to meet compliance requirements, reduce risk and build a strong safety and environmental compliance culture across the organization.

Position Description

Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary project manager for EHS initiatives and business unit goals, including safety and environmental compliance programs, corrective actions, inspections, training coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Lead the full project lifecycle-from planning and implementation to tracking, evaluation, and post-project review.
- Manage key compliance activities such as regulatory deliverables, audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports using Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, and other platforms.
- Partner with EHS leadership to align programs and strategies with strategic objectives and business unit goals.
- Standardize operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance across the organization.
- Facilitate monthly initiative review meetings with the EHS Leadership Team and support long-term planning and continuous improvement.
- Support organizational change efforts by assessing impacts, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating training and communication efforts.
- Coordinate safety training requirements and delivery in collaboration with Tacoma Power Training.
- Develop and maintain EHS Management System procedures and internal documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and process integrity.
- Oversee O&M and Capital budgets related to EHS programs, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, financial reporting, and year-end accruals.
- Manage vendor contracts including invoice approvals, compliance tracking, performance monitoring, and renewal timelines.
- Produce safety performance and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly and quarterly KPI summaries.
- Convene and facilitate stakeholder meetings to develop policies, procedures, plans, and programs.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to monitor the status of programs, commitments, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely issue resolution by tracking follow-up actions and coordinating across teams.
